Prepare your accepted paper for the ATS 2026 proceedings using the instructions below.
Both deadlines use Anywhere on Earth (AoE) time.
| Paper type | Page limit | Extra pages |
|---|---|---|
| Regular Paper | 6 pages | Not allowed |
| Late-Breaking Results (LBR) Paper | 3 pages, including references | Not allowed |
Papers accepted to the Late-Breaking Results (LBR) Track must include “Late Breaking Results – ” at the beginning of the paper title.
For example: “Late Breaking Results – A New Technique for…”
The final manuscript must not exceed 3 pages, including references.
Your final camera-ready paper must use the IEEE two-column A4 format, as specified in the ATS 2026 Submission Guidelines. Proofread your paper and check its layout before using PDF eXpress or submitting the final PDF.
Select the A4 template for Word or LaTeX from the IEEE conference templates page:
IEEE Templates — Select A4File name: You do not need to rename your final PDF. CPS will rename the file when you submit it.
All final papers must pass IEEE PDF eXpress validation before submission to CPS. You can upload an existing PDF for checking or upload your source files for conversion to an IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF.
Use the following PDF settings, keeping the A4 page size required for ATS 2026:
Check that all fonts are embedded and subset in the final PDF. Avoid fonts whose licensing settings prevent embedding.
Keep your paper in A4 format when exporting your PDF and using PDF eXpress. Check that the final validated PDF retains the A4 page size.
PDF eXpress supports PostScript, Microsoft Word, Freelance, PageMaker, FrameMaker, Word Pro, WordPerfect, QuarkXPress, Rich Text Format, and (La)TeX.
For (La)TeX, include the DVI file and all supporting files. For formats such as QuarkXPress and (La)TeX that do not embed all supporting files, submit a compressed archive containing the final manuscript and all required supporting files.
Embed images in the source document when possible to avoid missing graphics.

PDF eXpress provides instructions, resources, and troubleshooting tips. If a file has problems, the system emails a description of the issues. Technical support is available by email and telephone through the service.
Once your PDF has passed IEEE PDF eXpress validation, proceed to CPS to upload your final paper and complete the copyright requirements.
